Horse Back Discovery Tour 2013

By the name of the class it sounds like we search for rainbows and leprechauns on horse back, but besides that I had so much fun! Shout out to Peter for sending me the link to sign up for the class. The class was set up into 2 riding days, because the class was so big. I rode on Thursdays. It was a much needed break from classes and escape from Rexburg each week.  We would ride up in to the Tetons each week and spend a day in the fresh air  ( which you could only find if you were a good distance away from the horses, they don't exactly smell like a basket of roses) and the sunshine.

Our Last Ride
My teacher Brother Carter. He's about as country as it gets.
THUMPER!!!  He died last week of colic :(, also the horse in the back ground with the rider in red, died too. He fell over in the trailer on our the way to our last ride and suffocated to death. It kind of brought down the mood a little bit of that ride.

$$$$$  (this is cash) I only rode him once, and I'm glad it was only once.

Homer and his crazy eyeball

1st ride at the Sand Dunes

I drove the van for the class :)

Little baby a few hours after she was born,  she also died a few hours after this picture. Being a horse must be hard.

The snow was so deep our feet was dragging in it.

Paris again <3

This little guy is full grow and a regular horse, poor thing I don't think he'll move up too much in the pecking order

Rounding them up for the ride

I met some of the nicest, craziest, most fun people ever. I loved this class and I'll never forget the memories or the friendships I made.
