Thompsons vist Rexburg

Christie and Tyler were able to come up to Idaho and spend conference weekend with us. It was really fun getting to hang out with all the little munchkins and get to hang out with siblings for no special reason. I'm glad that family is so close and that we're willing to make the effort to see one another.
We tried to make the most of the weekend. As soon as Christie and her family got to Rexburg we met them at Applebees for dinner and then just hung out the rest of the night and Peter and Jill's place.   The next morning Christie, Tyler and the kids dropped peter off on campus for a test and then came to my place for a doughnut breakfast. Later that day we made our way up to Green canyon warm springs, which is a ghetto little indoor pool in the middle of no where filled with natural warm water. I was a little hesitant at first, but I WARMED up to it pretty shortly (hahaha get it Huh? Huh?) later that evening, Lori made taco soup and we went to the park to eat and make s'mores.  After the kids were in bed we played games.
The next morning was pretty low key. We just enjoyed each others company and listened to conference while Jill made us delicious stew and cinnamon rolls. By the time Sunday session was over is was time to say our goodbyes :(   Thanks Tyler and Christie for making the effort to come up for the weekend I wish is was longer.

Hanging out in my room

We took an hour to explore campus Saturday morning

riding her"horse" I have a feeling Caroline and I will be good friends

The drive to Green Canyon, Idaho is pretty in its own way

Caroline ran across the park to the mostly populated spot, pulled her pants down and peed all over herself, hence the dark spots on her pants. Hey at least shes not shy.
